Hello! My name is Kea Shields. Organizing someone’s material items is very personal which means anyone who is thinking about hiring an organizer should know a little about that person!
20 years ago I began researching organizing classes and certificates. At the time, I had no idea that professional organizing
businesses were even a thing. Fast-forward to today and realized that my passion for decluttering/purging and organizing could be a sustainable business.
For me, problem solving, forward thinking and developing plans come naturally for me. My background in program & project
management and customer service are skills that I will use in my business, but really it is my passion for helping others that inspired me to start my business.
For me it is about “Function vs Fluff” . You can make things look pretty but if you have too much “stuff” you are never really finding the peace you are looking for. Often just clearing out (aka purging) the excessive things you have, will allow you to open your mind and realize that you can keep your space clean. It is creating systems & changing habits about maintaining the uncluttered spaces that you will find freeing!
Clients and their possessions are treated with the utmost respect.
Every client and story is unique. Everyone deserves to have peace, even if that peace is from a clean garage! I will not judge (I have also been the one who needed help!). I will come in and review and create a plan to accomplish your goals and then facilitate the execution of that plan.
With my program management experience in corporate America, combined with my Midwest work ethic, empathy and compassion, I am ready to face any challenge head-on.
I am committed to collaboration, strong communication and clear expectations to help you achieve your goals
